Board Goals
- Goal 1.0 - Staff
Homedale School District will recruit, hire, develop and retain highly effective certificated and non-certificated staff.
- Goal 2.0 - Academic Accountability
- 2.1 All Students Reading: The percentage of Homedale Students in grades 3-8 and 10 scoring proficient and higher in Reading, will increase from 87.29% to 90.4% as measured by the spring 2010 ISAT.
- 2.2 All Students Math: The percentage of Homedale Students in grades 3-8 and 10 scoring proficient and higher in Math will increase from 81.37%to 88.7% as measured by the spring 2010 ISAT.
- 2.3 SWD Language: The percentage of Homedale students with disabilities(SWD) in grades 3-8 and 10 scoring proficient and higher in Language will increase from 43.1% to 83.4% as measured by the spring 2010 ISAT OR maintain or exceed 43.1%.
- 2.4 LEP Language: The percentage of Homedale limited English proficient (LEP) students in grades 3-8 and 10 scoring proficient and higher in Language will increase from 35.63% to 83.4% as measured by the spring 2010 ISAT OR maintain or exceed 35.63%.
- 2.5 All Students Science: The percentage of Homedale Students in grades 5, 7, and 10 scoring proficient in Science will increase from 58% to 76% as measured by the spring 2010 ISAT.
- 2.6 Graduation Rate: The graduation rate of students graduating from the Homedale School District will maintain or exceed 90% as calculated by the State Department of Education.
- 2.7 Writing: 75% of Homedale students will score proficient or higher in written language as measured by the district spring Direct Writing Assessment.
- 2.8 The number of students involved in advanced learning opportunities will maintain or increase from the prior year.
- 2.9.1 All Students Reading: The percentage of Homedale Students in grades 3-8 and 10 scoring advanced in Reading will increase from 34% to 37.4% as measured by the spring 2010 ISAT.
- 2.9.2 All Students Math: The percentage of Homedale Students in grades 3-8 and 10 scoring advanced in Math will increase from 36% to 39.6% as measured by the spring 2010 ISAT.
- 2.9.3 All Students Language: The percentage of Homedale Students in grades 3-8 and 10 scoring advanced in Language will increase from 24% to 26.4% as measured by the spring 2010 ISAT.
- Goal 3.0 - Community
Increase parent/family/community partnerships that support education for all students.
- Goal 4.0 - School Climate
Homedale Schools and district will establish and maintain a positive school climate.
- Critical Tasks:
Task 1 - Develop master facility site plan for Homedale Middle School property
Purpose: Assess the viability of consolidating services on that property
Task 2 - Develop, Publish, and Implement a Multi-Hazard Response Plan
Purpose: Ensure the health and safety of students
